DENVER - On Sunday August 16, The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network's (FAAN) Walk for Food Allergy takes place at Washington Park beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will be post-race activities including: live music, children's puppet show, scavenger hunt, tattoos, SnoCones and many other family fun activities!
FAAN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing public awareness of the potentially fatal condition. Denver is just one of 34 cities within the U.S. to raise money for food allergy research and education. Last year, the events raised more than $2.3 million nationwide.
More than 1,000 Denver-area residents are expected to walk with company teams, organizational groups, families and individually. Also attending will be our very own Kyle Dyer!
Registration for the Walk for Food Allergy is online at www.foodallergywalk.org. You may also contact Kim Bozich at 303-870-1749.
